The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is one of the most widely known industry-recognized certification for project managers.  The PMP certification is aimed at experienced project managers responsible for all aspects of project delivery, leading and directing cross-functional teams.

Some important points to note:

  • The PMP exam has 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), to be answered in 4 hours or less.
  • To maintain your PMP certification, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years.

Prerequisites

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education

or

  • Four-year degree
  • 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education
