About CCNA™ ICND exam: CCNA can be achieved by following any of the two available paths. One is to take the 640-801 exam directly. The other is to take two smaller exams, CCNA INTRO 640-821 and ICND 640-811. The former is preferred if you have some networking experience already. The latter is preferred if you are totally new to the networking and routing field. The exam covers topics on Extending Switched Networks with VLANS, Determining IP Routes, Managing IP traffic with Access Lists, Establishing Pont-to-Point connections, and Establishing Frame Relay Connections.
